Spring Chicken, a new fast casual restaurant concept created by 50 Eggs Inc., has opened its first location at 1514 South Dixie Highway in Coral Gables, Florida. The chain offers classic southern dishes inspired by the founder’s grandmother and the group’s Yardbird Southern Table & Bar team, according to a company press release.
Amicon Construction Management acted as the project’s owner representative, managing all aspects of design and construction and using its proprietary systems, practices and personnel to manage the project from concept to completion, including all aspects of the build-out, consequently reducing construction time and saving costs, according to the release.
“Amicon Construction Management was instrumental in launching our prototype Spring Chicken store and we really enjoy our working relationship,” – said John Kunkel, CEO and founder 50 Eggs Inc..
“With their expertise on the construction side and their management systems, we felt confident that the build-out of our first location was in great hands. We definitely threw them a few curve balls in terms of design, but they didn’t blink.”
Several additional Spring Chicken locations are under construction or in the planning phase, according to the release.
Amicon Construction has built several south Florida restaurants and retail projects, including the new NaiYaRa, Dr. Smood, Blaze Pizza, Miu Miu, Prada, Brown Jordan and Concrete Beach Brewery.
